I've always loved this story. It's so sad, so real, and so powerful. The Little Matchmaker has been since I read it for the first time one of the strongest memories of my childhood: I found sad that this little girl had been left to die in the street, and at the same time I was happy to know she was ok now.
So this feels like the right thing to start with for experimenting a bit with colors, textures and work methods...
